ABC President Steve McPherson Says He Loves Better Off Ted
With Modern Family, Cougar Town and The Middle all safely renewed for a second season, ABC’s Steve McPherson also talked about some other shows.
McPherson said that ABC has obviously been disappointed by Scrubs and Better Off Ted's ratings but said he loved both shows and noted comedy on any night but Wednesday was an island. He said that it wasn’t ABC’s intent to burn the episodes off, but “that was the best slot we have at this time.” McPherson said he loved both shows. They’ll almost certainly be canceled just like they’re certainly being burned off, even if it wasn’t their intent to burn them off!
But McPherson did say there was a possibility for either Ted or Scrubs at 8pm on Wednesday. On the subject of watching Better Off Ted, in a new video recently added to PortiaVideos, Portia tells you why you should be watching ...

Will Arnett Says Arrested Development Movie will Shoot This Year!
Speaking exclusively with ComingSoon.net on Sunday at the press junket for When in Rome, Will Arnett confirmed that an Arrested Development feature film should go into production sometime this year.
"I'm so glad you asked that," joked Arnett, who has been questioned about the series' fate since it went off the air in 2006. "It's very refreshing. We are working on the movie right now, yeah... We don't have a completed script yet, but it's forthcoming and we're going to make the movie this year."
When asked if he thought the cameras would actually roll before year's end, Arnett seemed resolute.
"That's the plan," said the actor in earnest, before deadpanning, "We're hoping once Jason Bateman gets out of rehab. I think that we're going to start shooting. Oh, was I not supposed to...? Please don't air that."
